IT was a long time since Egyptian basketball teams participated in the Olympic Games, but now the youth team is going to represent Egypt in the first Youth Olympic Games, where they play using the 3-on-3 system on a half-court outdoors.

 

The best Olympic achievement
Egypt national basketball appeared seven times in the Olympic Games, the best results achieved were in Los Angeles 1984 and in Seoul 1988 and in both came finished in 12th place
