Archery is one of the sports that have been recently introduced in Egypt catching up with its evolution around the world. In this year’s Youth Olympic Games, there will be individual Junior Men, Junior Women and Mixed Team competitions. The distance that athletes will be shooting is 70m. The Olympic round starts with a ranking match, followed by the individual and team elimination format.

The Best Olympic Achievement
The best achievement for Egyptian archery was in Beijing 2008 when Soha Abd el Aal and the current coach Maged Mohie both reached the round of 32.
